Just moved to Santa Rosa

Hello, my name is Liliana I am 24 years old and a mother of a wonderful 2 year old boy. I had a miscarriage a year ago which was devastating. A few days ago on Christmas we took 2 pregnancy tests which both came out positive so we are praying for a healthy baby this time. My family and I just moved here from NC where my husband and I were both in the Marine Corps and stationed for 6 years. I am originally from Lakeport and my family is still up there. I just moved to Santa Rosa and don't really know many people around especially families with children. I would love to meet other mothers around the area.

Welcome to the boards, and welcome to Santa Rosa! I am so sorry you had to suffer a miscarriage. Many of us have gone through that ourselves, and it can be such a sad loss. But I'm so excited for you and your family to be expecting again! And I love your picture, you have such an adorable family!

Hi Liliana - I'm a Army wife (National Guard) & from Sonoma County in SR. I lived in Lakeport for 5 years while hubby was stationed at the armory as a NCO. We have 2 kids - 9 & 13. This is a wonderful place to raise kids & even though there aren't many military family "outlets", there are many of us around. Glad to have ya & hope you enjoy it here. My husband and I have two beautiful daughters 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 and we just found out also we
are having a 3rd baby!!! I am a stay home mom and dont know many people in the
area so it was great when i found this website! :)
I am originally from Brazil and moved to USA to go to college and to play volleyball!
My husband and I meet in college and we will be married 6 years in May! He is from Modesto and we have been in Santa Rosa for about 4 months now!
